Would Caleb Williams Kill a Bears Fan to Win 10 Super Bowls?

0 4

We’re closing in on nearly 40 years since the Chicago Bears last won a Super Bowl, so I’m not blaming any fan who has already fallen in love with Caleb Williams because he’s the best shot this team has to reach the top of the mountain once again. The question here should be if a Bears would sacrifice themself for 10 Super Bowls, but that’s not what PFT Commenter asked Williams on the most recent episode of Pardon My Take.

Bears fans saw a glimpse of the Williams interview on Pardon My Take during this week’s Hard Knocks on HBO and as avid listeners of the podcast have become accustomed to PFT Commenter did not disappoint with this wild question.

“I’ve read that you’ve received media training, so you’re ready to deal with the media that tries to get you to say stuff. I don’t know if they prepared you for this question. If there was a button, if you had a button, and if you pushed it one Bears fan would die, but you would win 10 Super Bowls, do you press the button?”

Big Cat quickly jumped in before Williams responded and offered to sacrifice himself in order for the Bears to win 10 Super Bowls, while the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft couldn’t help but laugh.

But I mean, there’s no way Caleb Williams actually answered the question, right? Well…(1:33)

Bears fans, you want your franchise QB to have a killer instinct and I just saw Caleb Williams smashing that hypothetical button in order to win 10 Super Bowls.

Here’s the full exchange on Pardon My Take.

The BFR Podcast has a full recap of Tuesday’s episode of Hard Knocks that featured behind the scenes look at the Matthew Judon trade pursuit, issues early on in Saturday’s preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals and more from Bears training camp.
