5 undrafted rookies in NBA Summer League who look like steals on two-way deals in 2024

While there were several notable players who did not hear their names called in the 2024 NBA Draft, that was only the beginning of their journey.

Some of those players immediately signed as undrafted free agents, earning two-way contracts that will give them the chance to play in both the NBA and the G League next season. A few of those signees have already stood out during NBA 2K25 Summer League, playing well for the teams that gave them an opportunity.

This is a great proving ground for these types of players, who can showcase their talents early in their pro careers. Last year, Cleveland’s Craig Porter Jr. was one of those standouts. While he began the year on a two-way deal, by midseason, he eventually signed a four-year contract with the Cavaliers.

He finished the year as one of just three rookies (joining Chet Holmgren and Amen Thompson) with at least 100 points, 100 rebounds, and 100 assists while also shooting better 50.0 percent from the field.

Here are a few of the players in this class who could have similar NBA seasons in 2024-25.
