Crystal Palace line up dramatic transfer swoop for ex-Premier League star as they splash Michael Olise cash

0 19

BOSS Oliver Glasner is poised for a dramatic move to sign Ismaila Sarr amid a hectic transfer spree at Crystal Palace.

Eagles have been keen on Marseille’s Senegal winger, 26, for years and he could return to the Premier League where he spent two seasons with Watford.

Palace could benefit from Sarr’s pace and power

Sarr would cost around £20million and shot on to Glasner’s wanted list as he looks to spend the £49.5m Bayern Munich paid for Michael Olise.

Despite a hit-and-miss time at Marseille, Sarr has the kind of power and pace that the Austrian could do with.

Palace are already working on a deal for Club Brugge’s Nigerian wideman Antonio Nusa, 19, who is available at around £25m.

Nusa was close to joining Brentford in January but question marks over his fitness KO’d the move — although he has played well since for club and country.

Palace are also in the chase for another winger Jaden Philogene, 23.

But Hull will sell to the highest bidder and Ipswich remain favourites, with Everton also keen.

While Glasner also faces a fight to hold onto another star player – Marc Guehi.

His performances at Euro 2024 have attracted more suitors including Real Madrid, who could be prepared to spend the £50million Palace want for the defender.
