NBA Draft odds for who the Hawks will take with the No. 1 overall pick after winning the 2024 lottery
The NBA Draft lottery is behind us, the order is set and it’s the Atlanta Hawks who will be picking No. 1 overall.
A surprise to everyone — especially Detroit Pistons fans — Atlanta moved up to No. 1 after entering the lottery with just the 10th best odds to land the top pick. But luck was on the Hawks’ side, and now they have their pick of all the top prospects in the 2024 draft.
But who will they select?
That’s a tough question in a draft without a clear-cut top prospect like Victor Wembanyama was in 2023. FTW’s Bryan Kalbrosky has the Hawks taking French big man Alexandre Sarr in his latest mock draft, but that’s far from a consensus. Yet, oddsmakers agree with BK … for now.
Sarr has the best odds to be drafted No. 1 at BetMGM at -200, followed by fellow french national Zaccharie Risacher at +300. The next closest player is Serbian guard Nikola Topic (+2000), who Kalbrosky has going No. 2.
