Shaq just dropped a Shannon Sharpe diss track and, yes, it's time to shut the simulation down

I didn’t have a Shaq-Shannon Sharpe beef on my 2024 Bingo card. I certainly didn’t have Shaq releasing a song dissing Shannon Sharpe on there, either.

Alas. Here we are with both.

These two old-timers got into it on the internet because of *checks notes* Nikola Jokic? Man. When I say things like “the simulation is simulating” I’m usually joking. I don’t seriously believe life is a simulation.

This right here though? This has me questioning everything. Because WHAT?!?

Shaq already criticized Sharpe on Instagram for saying he was jealous of Nikola Jokic and other NBA big men this morning. Now, the big man is back again. Except this time he’s cooking Sharpe on wax instead of in somebody’s comment section.

Again, none of that paragraph feels like it should be real. But it is. Take a listen.

“Oh, Shannon, come on man, you’re way beneath me/You’re whole demeanor is faker than rapper beef be,” he starts off saying. That’s ironic considering this is a diss track aimed at…you know what? Nevermind.

He kept going for about 30 seconds before the song cuts off. I’m assuming there’s a full version of this out there somewhere and that it will see the light of day at some point. I have no idea. I just can’t believe this is a thing in 2024. I blame Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

I wasn’t the only one shocked here. The rest of Twitter couldn’t believe this was real either.
