The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly re-signing running back Ezekiel Elliott, and the move has fans posting so many Jerry Jones jokes.
Jerry Jones is doing Jerry Jones things — again. After missing out on Derrick Henry in free agency, many thought Dallas might draft a running back during the 2024 NFL Draft. But, in a shocking turn of events, they did not. (So much for being “all in!”)
Instead, they got their old thing back and re-signed Zeke Elliott to the roster. Per Tom Pelissero, the move has been in the works since late last week, and Elliott will join a crowded running back room that includes Deuce Vaughn and five other backs.
