WHY RAIDERS COULD WIN: While the Raider could have some issues due to four-fifths of their offensive line missing practice all week due to their close contact with Trent Brown (who tested positive for COVID-19), they are coming off an eye-opening offensive effort during their upset win over the Chiefs. … Derek Carr’s willingness to stretch the field with Henry Ruggs III and Darren Waller could pay dividends in the running game with Josh Jacobs, even if the Bucs have a stout front seven. … The Raiders were able to get ample pressure on Patrick Mahomes with some backup linemen as they had a whopping 32 pressures on the Chiefs star quarterback, according to Pro Football Focus. The Raiders also had three sacks and five quarterback hits. Now, the Raiders will have starters Maurice Hurst and Maliek Collins back on Sunday.

WHY BUCCANEERS COULD WIN: The Buccaneers should have an edge considering the Raiders’ coronavirus scare forced their entire starting offensive line to miss practice and the Raiders will be without Brown and safety Johnathan Abram because of it. … Tampa Bay’s defense has no shortage of big play-makers — linebackers LaVonte David and Devin White, linemen and pass rushers Ndamukong Suh, Shaquil Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul, as well as rising cornerback stars Jamel Dean and Carlton Davis — and the Bucs have the numbers to back it up. They’re the NFL’s top-rated defense. They’ve also allowed a league-low 64.3 yards rushing per game. … Tom Brady may be 43 years old, but the onetime Serra High star is still plenty good enough to flumox opposing defenses. Plus, Brady has some top-notch weapons at his disposal in receivers Chris Godwin and Mike Evans and tailback Ronald Jones II, who has topped the 100-yard mark in three straight games.

RAIDERS NEXT GAME: vs. Browns at FirstEnergy Stadium in Cleveland on Sunday, Nov. 1 at 10 a.m. (PT).
