Odell Beckham Jr. 'cried' at the perfect video for his Richard Mille watch saga

By now, you probably heard that Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. played football on Sunday while wearing a ridiculously expensive Richard Mille watch.

The model watch, which he purchased at retail for around $190,000, has been listed online for as much as $350,880 and understandably attracted plenty of attention.

By Tuesday, Beckham was fielding questions about the watch, and he revealed he intends to continue wearing the watch despite NFL rules prohibiting hard objects. But the Browns receiver was clearly tired of being asked about the jewelry, claiming that it was only a big deal because it was him wearing an expensive watch.

Either way, leave it to former NFL defensive back Will Blackmon to perfectly sum up how Beckham must be feeling about his watch having a news cycle. He tweeted a clip from Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence’s film, Life, and it couldn’t have been more spot on.

Beckham particularly loved the tweet and said he just “cried.”

As Beckham alluded to on Monday, if it’s not one thing, it’ll be another.

Still, there’s not much benefit in wearing a watch during a contact sport … though it is a cool watch.
