UN slave trade resolution a path to healing — Mahama
President John Dramani Mahama has described Ghana rsquo;s proposed United Nations resolution on the transatlantic slave trade as a pathway to healing and justice. The resolution, titled ldquo;Declaration of the Trafficking of Enslaved Africans and Racialised Chattel Enslavement of Africans as the Gravest Crime Against Humanity, rdquo; was formally presented at the United Nations on Wednesday, March 25.
