GES Refutes Allegations of Secret Teacher Recruitment
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has strongly denied claims that it is secretly recruiting teachers and selling appointments for as much as GHS25,000. In a statement issued on Friday, December 12, and signed by Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations, GES noted that its attention had been drawn to a viral video and reports on some traditional media platforms alleging a clandestine recruitment exercise and payments by individuals to secure teaching positions.
