Avalanche F Martin Necas signs 8-year extension

Forward Martin Necas signed an eight-year contract extension with the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday.
Financial terms were not disclosed by the Avalanche, however TSN reported the deal was worth $92 million and includes $60.4 million in signing bonuses.
The extension spans through the 2033-34 season for Necas, who would have been an unrestricted free agen
