Iowa State received ample time to think about what's gone wrong in the month of October thanks to a much-needed bye week after two consecutive conference losses.
Still, that doesn't mean the journey ahead is any easier, as freshman phenom Bear Bachmeier and No. 11 BYU will try to block the Cyclones' road to Big 12 redemption on Saturday in Ames, Iowa.
