San Jose Earthquakes standout midfielder Hernan Lopez underwent right shoulder surgery on Friday and is expected to miss three to four months.
Lopez, 24, hasn't scored in two matches this season after having six goals and two assists in 24 MLS matches (22 starts) in 2024.
