Sichuan beat Jiangsu to win 2022 Chinese National Softball Championship

<p>Sichuan defeated Jiangsu, 6-5, in the final to win the 2022 National Softball Championship held in Xingyi City, Guizhou Province, China from 6-9 September. Liaoning finished in third place while Beijing, Henan, Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin and Chongqing ranked fourth to ninth respectively.</p>

<p>A total of nine teams competed in the tournament, which showed the highest level of Chinese women's softball. The tournament was live-streamed on social media platforms, including the <em>Chin</em><em>ese</em><em> Baseball and Softball APP</em><em>, </em>a mobile application developed by the Chinese Softball Association. </p>

<p>After the Championship, the Chinese Softball Association (CSA) will continue to hold other events, including the second half of China Softball League. </p>

<p>The second half of the season will be held in the Shaoxing Baseball and Softball Sports Culture Center in early November. The stadium built for the XIX Asian Games covers a total land area of 245 mou (16.33 hectares) with a total investment of 1.854 billion yuan (US $275 million). It is the largest and newest baseball and softball stadium in China.</p>
