Lemons this morning at 5 AM, Lemonade at 10 AM . We woke up to a parking lot you could not walk across, a driveway the groomers could not drive up, roads the team could hardly drive in on! I wanted to put up the closed sign and go back to bed.

Super skiing today; much better than yesterday. Groom crew of 5 took care of trails early AM today, skiers were very happy (after a freeze thaw like last week it takes 2 days to really grind the transformed snow into small “snowcone” like pieces that are pleasant to ski on).

TERRIFYING footage shows the moment skiers are swallowed up by an avalanche in Switzerland. The slope at the resort of Andermatt was packed when the avalanche struck at just before 11am and a desperate search is underway for holidaymakers buried under the snow.
