POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)-- Two people were arrested Sunday night after a reported shooting at Hulme Park in the City of Poughkeepsie. According to the city police department, two people sustained gunshot wounds from the incident.

Officers said they responded to the park around 7:05 p.m. for multiple calls to 911 reporting shots fired. When they arrived on scene, officers found a 37-year-old man from Newburgh, with a gunshot wound.

Shortly after, officers found two men fitting the suspect descriptions, who then began to run away. Police said, after chasing them, the two were placed under arrest.

The two were identified as Anthony Guillen, 31, of Poughkeepsie, and Charles Clayton Jr., 29, of Pleasant Valley. Guillen was found to have sustained a gunshot wound during the shooting also.
