Multiple injured in Grafton shooting

GRAFTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The New York State Police is investigating after multiple people were injured in a shooting on Wednesday. The incident took place around 6:40 p.m. on South Road in the town of Grafton.
Troopers were called to a home on South Road for a report of shots fired. At the scene, police said a person came out of the home armed with a firearm. They were taken into custody after a brief standoff.
Inside the home, police said they found multiple people with gunshot wounds.
South Road is closed between Johnson Road and Snyder Road as the investigation continues. Police said there is no threat to the public.
