2 shot, 1 critically, in drive-by shooting in Humboldt Park
Police are looking for a black sport-utility vehicle involved in a drive-by shooting that left two people wounded, one critically early Sunday in Humboldt Park.
An assailant in a black SUV fired multiple shots at a 59-year-old man and a female whose age was unknown about 3:20 a.m. in the 3000 block of West Chicago Avenue, according to police.
The female was in critical condition after being struck in the left shoulder, while the man was shot in the right leg and in good condition, police said. Both victims were taken to Stroger Hospital.
The person in the SUV drove off after the shooting, heading east on Chicago Avenue, police said.
No one was in custody Sunday morning as Area 3 detectives investigate.
