Baton Rouge woman arrested in connection to St. Martin Parish shooting
ST. MARTIN PARISH, La. (KLFY) -- A Baton Rouge woman was arrested in connection with a shooting in St. Martinville yesterday morning.
Officials said they arrested 21-year-old Emily Jones, of Baton Rouge, for her alleged connection to a St. Martin Parish shooting.
Officials said around 3:30 a.m. yesterday morning St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call regarding a woman shooting at a residence in the 1000 block of Roy J. Melancon Road in Breaux Bridge.
Officials said when they arrived on the scene, they identified Jones, and she was sent to a St. Martin Parish jail on charges of aggravated criminal damage to property and three counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Jones' bond was set at $200,000. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
