Temple shooting suspect expected to plead guilty

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The man accused of firing a gun outside Temple Israel in Albany in December 2023 is expected to change his plea to guilty.
Police said Mufid Alkhader fired two shotgun shells near the temple. No injuries were reported.
He is being charged with conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States and two weapons charges. The hearing is scheduled for Feb. 4.
