Vermont deputies investigate shooting in Wells

WELLS, Vt. (NEWS10)-- Deputies of the Rutland County Sheriff's Office are investigating a shooting at a home on Lamb Hill Road in Wells. Police said no one was injured, and the suspect shot into the house from a close distance.
Deputies said a preliminary investigation found and collected evidence of a single handgun. Deputies also said the suspect, believed to be a man, was in a dark-colored vehicle.
Any investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Anyone with information should call Corporal Gregory Ricketts of the Rutland County Sheriff's Department at (802) 775-8002.
