One injured, teen charged with attempted murder in Eunice shooting

EUNICE, La. (KLFY) -- A 17-year-old suspect was charged with attempted murder in connection with a shooting that left one person injured Sunday morning, according to the Eunice Police Department.
Police said Chrininski Voris, of Eunice, faces one count of attempted second-degree murder and illegal possession of a firearm by a juvenile.
Eunice police said in a news release on Sunday that three people were taken into custody for questioning regarding a shooting that was reported around 10 a.m. at a home on Fusilier Street.
A male victim had been shot in the abdomen while inside the residence, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
The shooting remains under investigation.
