[Men's Golf] Ramirez Takes 15th in Shortened GPAC Championship

Doane Men's Golf competed in the final round of the GPAC Championships on Friday as Saturday's action was canceled due to high winds at The Bluffs GC in Vermillion, S.D. The first two rounds of the championship meet were held in the fall. The Tigers finished fourth with a 54-hole score of 910 (301-301-308).

Micah Ramirez (SR/Loveland, Colo.) led the Tigers with a 15th place finish after shooting a 226 (73-78-75). Blake Andersen (JR/Grand Junction, Colo.) placed 16th with a 227 (76-74-77). Ryan Weiss (SO/Franklin, Neb.) shot a 233 (79-77-77) to place 26th. Two Tigers competed for the first time in the championship and did not qualify for placing. Sam Arnold (FR/Elkhorn, Neb.) shot a 79 and Andrew Paquette (JR/Beatrice, Neb.) shot an 83.

Doane has finished in the Top 5 of the team standings each year since 2013-14.
