Shagun Pandey, who plays the male lead in Meet, injured himself during the shoot recently. The actor cut his hand and had to rush to a nearby hospital. He sustained a gash and was given six stitches. Shagun tells us, “I was enacting a scene and didn’t realise that a centrepiece with sharp edges fell on my hand and I suffered an injury. The cut was quite deep to the extent that it almost touched the finger bones. So, yes it was terrifying. I have got six stitches and was forced to take anaesthesia though I was not willing to, as I wanted to get back to shoot immediately after the formalities were completed.”
