Ben Simmons

The Sixer has career averages of 16.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.6 steals. He can do it all, it seems, except shoot 3-pointers. He is 0-for-17 from that range. “I am confident to say I am not a great shooter,” said Simmons. He can, however, rebound, pass and guard any position. “I know what I’m good at,” Simmons said. “I know what I’m great at. There’s things I need to work on. But my game is not going to change in a day. I’m not going to come out and be shooting lights-out like (Golden State’s) Klay (Thompson) and Steph (Curry) or guys like them. My game is developing.”

Mark Richt

The former Miami football coach suffered a heart attack Monday, according to his tweet. “I am doing fine,” wrote Richt, 59. “As I went through the experience I had peace knowing I was going to heaven but I was going to miss my wife. I plan to be at work this week.” Richt abruptly retired Dec. 30. He said his health was one reason he decided to stop coaching. “Long story short, I really didn’t do a great job taking care of myself physically,” Richt said earlier this year. “... I just kind of wore myself down to the point where I got a little concerned.”
