A GUN-loving mum known as the ‘Miss America’ of the US shooting community is blowing up Instagram with her racy photos and videos.

Casey Curry, who lives with her husband and their five kids, insists having a house packed with guns gives her family “comfort”.

And amazingly Casey  – aka Buff Cookie – doesn’t believe her country’s shocking gun crime problem is worse than anywhere else.

She said: “Crime rates are similar. Bad people will do bad things regardless. A firearm is simply a tool, and if they want to find a way to inflict harm they will.

We don’t have a gun problem in our country, we have a mental illness problem. That should be our main focus.”

The 27-year-old comes from a long line of hunters and claims to have fired her first gun when she was just three or four years old.

When questioned about gun safety in the home, she said: ““No one is responsible for the protection of my family but me and my husband.

“I like the comfort of knowing that if something happens we can protect ourselves. Fear comes from the unknown.”

And she insists she has taught her kids to stay safe around her mini arsenal.

“They know they are not a toy and are to be taken very seriously,” she said. “Proper firearms handling is so important and the earlier you teach it the better.

“I grew up in a family full of avid hunters. I was going on hunts since I was a year old and shot my first gun at three or  four.”

And with mass shootings a very current issue in the States, with schools often being the target, the Utah native has some controversial views on how this issue should be tackled.

“Teachers with training should carry guns. I don’t think anyone should just go buy a gun without the proper knowledge and training,” she said.

“However if something ever happens in my kids school I sure hope their teachers care enough to arm their classrooms.”

She spoke out days after it was revealed in the wake of the massacres in El Paso and Ohio the number of mass shootings in the US has hit 251 this year.

According to new data, more than 520 people have died and at least 2,000 have been injured.

Her family’s love of guns runs so deep, they have even opened gun shop Ready Gunner, which is billed ‘Utah’s favourite of gun and ammunition related products’.

Curry’s striking looks and strong opinions have won her many fans, and she currently has 330,000 Instagram followers.

Her page has the bio: ‘Home Grown American Woman – Guns, Buns and Shenaniguns!’

She continued: “While there is a lot of negativity on social media, on the flip side there are a lot of really amazing, positivity as well! You just have to look for it.”

As well as guns and Instagram, Curry is also a health and fitness enthusiast and offers advice for those hoping to get back in shape after having children.
