FIFA 20: When is the release date, will Cristiano Ronaldo be the cover star and what are the new features?

EA SPORTS released their first trailer for this year’s FIFA 20 ahead of the E3 event in Los Angeles.

Last year’s edition received some criticism from the finesse shooting changes to a lack of development on the Career Mode section.

When will FIFA 20 be released?

The new edition of the famous game is set to be released on Friday, September 27.

This is a day earlier than last year’s version, with EA Sports having stuck to its September release since 2010.

Who will be the cover star for FIFA 20?

The new trailer did not reveal who will be the game’s main cover star.

Players from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund were shown in action shots.

Cristiano Ronaldo has held the coveted title of being FIFA’s poster boy in the last two editions.

But leaks online hinted this week that Neymar will take over the mantle.

What new features are in the game?

While there have been criticisms over the shooting ability and calls to improve the Career Mode part of the game, the trailer only revealed one new feature.

Last year, a deal to have the rights to Champions League and Europa League in the game was EA Sports’ biggest selling point.

This time around, FIFA will incorporate a street football mode into it, which appears similar to that of their previous games FIFA Street.

This will be called Volta Football, where you can play with three players each but no goalkeeper or 4v4, 5v5 and even professional futsal.

The locations for these include Amsterdam, London and even a Tokyo rooftop, while a Volta story mode is included.
