Selling Jota in Jan (19 replies)

Argument sake only... I understand no matter what the table looks like in Jan it can look very different come the end of season BUT

If we knew for certain we are in championship regardless next season,

Would you sell Jota & Colin if we were guaranteed to be able to sign in the summer with no restrictions?

Or ride it out and see what would happen in the summer?

For me I would sell. I would be gutted to see Jota go, on the ball he is amazing, his shooting lets him down but then again if he had a bullet shot he would be playing in prem.

But I don't know if he is the sort of player to build a team around or is he the cherry on top once you have the core of your team?

I think Harding could you great job in starting 11 and between Mohoney/Viv we could get through until the summer without Jota.

We aren't going to get anywhere fast under these restrictions and that seems to be the quickest or only way to sort it, I cant see Butland going for big money and if Leicester have any sense they should build a team around Gray.

For me if its looking good in Jan I would take the risk otherwise how long could this hang over our heads? If we cant bring anyone in and cant renew contracts because of the caps we are going to end up going down eventually anyway...

And yes my day is going realllyyyy slow today ????
