Steph Curry is now fourth all-time in playoff threes

It’s only a matter of time before he leads the list.

Friday night was not a good night for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The team struggled to find rhythm all game, and lost 119-100 to the New Orleans Pelicans.

Curry struggled with his shot, shooting just 6-19 from the field, and 3-9 from beyond the arc. Still, those three-pointers were historically important, as they moved him past Reggie Miller and into fourth place on the all-time postseason three-point list.

With 322 postseason triples, Curry now stands behind only Ray Allen, LeBron James, and Manu Ginobili. Curry will likely tie or pass Ginobili in Game 4. He’ll also probably hit James’ mark of 345 before the postseason concludes, but given that James is in the playoffs as well, that mark will keep rising. So Curry will likely end this season third all-time.

Still, it’s only a matter of time before Curry is the NBA’s all-time leader in postseason threes, just as it’s only a matter of time before he’s the all-time leader in total threes made.

He just keeps rising up the record books, with no end in sight.
