When doing the things he should be doing in that 'Enforcer' type role I thought he was excellent.

It was when he was pushing further on that he became a problem. He wasn't quick enough to seek out cutting edge passes, his shooting is god damn awful and his positioning in the oppositions area was just miles out.

He made a really bad square pass just before half time last night that Morrison got him out of jail with. He made a similar (but not as bad) pass in the 2nd half, but apart from that he was fine. He won everything in the air, he generally moved the ball quicker and simpler than he has, he won tackles, he made blocks. His one on one he should have buried, but hey ho, at least he's getting in the positions.

As has been mentioned earlier on this thread - the couple of games after he got took off at half time, he didnt look fit and was poor, but apart from that he's been fine, and on a couple of occasions (Leeds, Bristol) he's been outstanding.
