BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Third-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) defeated No. 7 seed Shawnee State 89-67 in the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Semifinals at Bowling Green Arena.
Following the conclusion of the game, Georgetown's (24-7) Derrin Boyd was named the H&W Sports Player of the Game. Boyd scored a game-high 25 points on 8-of-14 shooting while connecting on 5-of-7 shots from three. He also recorded eight rebounds and seven assists.
