CHICAGO – Senior guard Joshua Evans (Dolton, Ill./Dubuque/Crete-Monee) scored a game-high 21 points on 6-for-10 shooting and pulled down 13 rebounds to help lead Saint Xavier University men's basketball (3-3, 0-1 CCAC) to a 72-64 victory over Mount Mercy University (Iowa) in a non-conference contest Saturday afternoon at the Shannon Center in Chicago. It was the home opener for the Cougars after playing their first five games on the road. Evans also had a team-high four assists, along with three steals and a block. As a team, SXU forced 15 turnovers and came away with 14 steals.
