Magic's Jalen Suggs out of Summer League with thumb sprain
The Orlando Magic have pulled rookie shooting guard Jalen Suggs from the Las Vegas Summer League after he sustained a thumb sprain against the Boston Celtics.
Suggs was hurt driving to the basket in the second quarter of Thursday's game, though it wasn't clear how. An MRI confirmed the extent of the injury.
Suggs, 20, was taken No. 5 overall out of Gonzaga in the 2021 NBA Draft.
