PIKEVILLE, Ky. – Fifth-seeded Campbellsville (Ky.) got past No. 4 seed Cumberlands (Ky.) 88-87 Saturday in the Quarterfinals of the MSC Men's Basketball Quarterfinals at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center.
Stephaun Adams led all scorers with 33 points on 10-of-17 shooting and converted on all 12 of his attempts from the charity stripe. Andrew Smith scored 22 points while Jacob King added 13. As a team the Tigers (22-8) shot 55 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the free throw line.
