A 6-10, 215-pound rookie, Spalding appeared in one game with the Dallas Mavericks this season and, while on assignment with the Texas Legends of the NBA G League, averaged 15.9 points on 51.4 percent shooting, 9.4 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.6 steals in 29 G League games.
