Kevin Durant’s return from rib injury ends in first-half ejection
Warriors forward Kevin Durant was ejected late in the second quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Bucks after arguing a non-call with referee Tre Maddox.
Durant’s league-leading fifth ejection was an abrupt end to what had been his long-awaited return to the floor after missing six games with fractured rib cartilage. In 17 minutes, he had 10 points on 4-for-10 shooting, six assists, three rebounds, four turnovers and a plus-minus of minus-15.
