[Men's Basketball] Consistency, Defense Fuel Late Rally

SANTEE, Calif. — Some grit and togetherness was all Vanguard University needed to defeat San Diego Christian College. In one of the final Golden State Athletic Conference regular season contests, the Lions fought hard to gain the lead early and maintain it for the remainder of the game. Connor Griffin led with a team-high 15 points on over 85 percent shooting and Donte Williams had 12. Geremy McKay and Mario Soto each contributed with nine points a piece. Head coach Rhett Soliday said he's proud of the way the team played together and for each other.
