Nassau Tops List of Caribbean Boating Cities in 2025 Report by GetMyBoat
Nassau Named Top Boating City in the Caribbean by GetMyBoat’s 2025 Report
Nassau, Bahamas, has been named the top boating city in the Caribbean, according to GetMyBoat’s 2025 Boating Trends Report, released in March. The report, compiled by the world’s largest boat rental marketplace, reveals Nassau leads in demand, with 167 boats available—mainly powerboats.
From excursions to Pig Beach and half-day fishing charters to snorkeling adventures in the Thunderball Grotto, Nassau’s marine tourism scene continues to thrive.
GetMyBoat, a subsidiary of Yanmar and based in Menlo Park, CA, analyzed rental and charter demand data across the Caribbean in 2024. The report excluded outliers and low-sample locations to provide an accurate snapshot of where travelers are boating—and what they’re booking. Destinations were ranked based on demand, number of vessels available, and top boat types per region.
Here’s the full Top 10 list:
Nassau, Bahamas – 167 powerboats; top trips include Pig Beach and Thunderball Grotto
Fajardo, Puerto Rico – 110 yachts; bioluminescent bay and nearby islands
Cartagena, Colombia – 285 catamarans; Rosario Islands day trips
Bavaro, Dominican Republic – 167 yachts
