ICRA Nationals & Sovereigns Cup 2025
The 2025 edition of the ICRA Nationals & Sovereigns Cup was held was week at Kinsale Yacht Club. Once again the Royal Cork travelled in numbers with 15 boats competing in the event. Racing did not disappoint and there was a mix of all conditions to ensure fair racing. At the end, the Royal Cork had two class winners: Diamond who won in ICRA IRC3 and Sovereigns WS IRC2, and Morning After won took home the trophy in Sovereigns WS IRC2.
These weren’t the only boats who tasted success however, there were a number of other boats which took top 3 places:
Magnet and Grin and Bear it had a second and third place respectively in Coastal ICRA ECHO 2, ICRA IRC 2 & Sovereigns IRC2.
Jellybaby came third Spinnaker 0, ICRA ECHO, and second in ICRA IRC & Sovereigns IRC.
Swuzzlebubble were second in ICRA IRC2 and Sovereigns IRC2.
Luas were second in ICRA ECHO class 3. In White Sail 1, Prince of Tides were third in IRCA ECHO 1 and Bataleur 88 came third in Sovereigns IRC 1.
Finally, In WS class 2, Lady Min were second in ECHO.
