“Jellybaby” is the king of Cowes!
Huge congratulations to the Jones family who, in their J122, won class 2 IRC in the World renowned Cowes Week regatta on the Isle of Wight last week. What a fantastic achievement!
They started the week as they intended to continue by winning the first race and scored two more bullets during the week.
A slight blip on Monday wasn’t going to spoil the party and it was all down to the last race as they slugged it out with another J122, “Bulldog”.
Fortunately, “Jellybaby” came out on top and won their class by 4 points. Jellybaby was also 3rd overall in the event and won best newcomer!
Congratulations once again to Brian, Mary, Cian, David and all of their crew!
