Club Security and Safety

0 4

With the winter finally behind us, we’re sure our members are looking forward to preparing for the next sailing season.

With increasing activity on the platform we would ask members to be vigilant in relation to security at the Club. Members are reminded that when opening the gates to bring boats and equipment onto the platform, the gates should not be left open, but should be closed immediately after entering / exiting from the platform area. In addition we ask all members to ensure that the rear gate is not wedged open – if you see the gate wedged open please remove the wedge and allow the gate to close. Likewise, neither external nor internal doors into and within the Club should be wedged open – this is a fire hazard as well as a security hazard.

We all have a shared responsibility for the security of our Club premises; thank you for your co-operation on this matter.
