Coaching for Optimist sailors during the September series

The National Yacht Club will be providing coaching for Optimist Sailors for four Sunday afternoons 13:00 – 16:00

Sunday Aug 29th
Sunday Sept 12th
Sunday Sept 19th
Sunday Sept 26th

There is no September Series or coaching on September 5th due to an Optimist Competition at RStGYC

Please read the descriptions carefully to ensure you book in for the right level – REGISTER BELOW

1) Minors (6 places) – This course is for sailors who have completed the NYC Nippers/equivalent previously, but have not yet passed their Level 1/Start Sailing + is comfortable, willing and able to sailing their own boat on their own + has access to their own boat + note there is a minimum DOB. This course is open to sailors born in 2013 and older. + The cost for this course is Euro 80.00 per child

 2) Start Racing (8 places) –

3) Racing (8 places) – This course is for sailors who have either completed their Level 2 Sailing qualification + are able to sail a triangular course + has access to their own boat + must be confident and capable of participating in the Sunday afternoon   races (held inside the harbour) + these sailors will be competing in the Sunday afternoon races and have an instructor guiding them whilst participating in the Sunday afternoon races + these sailors will have to register for the  Sunday afternoon races separately (additionally) online here + note there is a minimum DOB. This course is open to sailors born in 2013 and older. 
The cost for this course is Euro 45.00 per child (Note you will also have to register and pay for the Sunday afternoon races separately)
Note that each child must have access to their own boat. Charter Optimists are available from the boat house if required.
