BSSC.  RACE TRAINING     MAY 29/30

 Please see the attached outline agenda for the two day Race Training primarily designed for juniors and adults who can sail well around a course but who wish to get involved with racing. The course is a basic, non RYA approved, free course run by two local (self confessed) experts Bill Andrews and Bruce Kemp. The aim is for participants to achieve greater confidence to start racing.

 Outline Agenda, May 29th Day 1

 13.00.     Meet up at the clubhouse for introductions and aims.  (Have own boats rigged)
 13.30.     30 Mins talk by Bruce “starting to race”.  What you need, where is the course?
               where is the line, which way to go!
 14.30.     On water for short course training in own boats, videoed !
 15.30.     High Tide
 16.30.     Hints and tips based on video playback
 17.45.     Finish

 May 30th  Day 2 
 14.00.   Meet at the clubhouse.  Review of lessons learnt, Q&A on race strategy
15.00.    Sailing in Hawks helmed by experienced helms who will explain thoughts while         racing around a short course.
16.30.    High Tide
 17.30.    Play back of video, hints and tips,
