Mini-Fastnet arrival

Last week, we talked about the departure of this 600 miles double race. This race allowed to numerous skippers to finish their qualitifications for the Mini-Tansat 2017, well done to all of them, it's the final line before standing at the departure on the 1st of October at La Rochelle!
We also congratulate the two coupls winners, Ian Lipinsk and David Raison in Proto and Clarisse Crémer and Erwan Le Draoulec in série! Note that 3 of the 4 winners will take the departure of the Mini-Transat 2017!
Congratulations to all of you for the great performances during this offshore race!

The Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro

Julien Pulvé, at the second place at the Mini-Transat 2015, finish eleventh at the general ranking and first bizuth of the Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro. Great performance!

Each week, discover a partner of the Mini-Transat 2017.
The "E.C.O.L.E de la mer" is an association that aims at inform, educate and spread about the scientific and techinical culture on marine biodiversity and coastal spaces to large publics.
So this is with a certain evidence that a partnership with the Mini-Transat 2017 have been developped and more specifically with the Label Bleue operation. Indeed, our educational goals perfectly meet in sharing and exchanging with the youngest.

Collectif Rochelais Mini-Transat staff

Who are the Collectif Rochelais Mini-Transat members?
Bernard Bonneau organized or took part of organisation teams of numerous sail races. When it has been official for La Rochelle to organize the Mini-Transat, he was just out from the application of La Rochelle for the Olympic Games of 2024, where he was the president association shelf. Regarding his organization experience, Jean-François Fountaine encourgae him very much to join the organization team of the Mini-Transat 2017. The challenge was really interesting for Bernard so he gave a positive response by joing the Collectif Rochelais Mini-Transat. Further Olympism, Bernard has a really great experience of offshore races. He has been for a decade president of the examination board of the Figaro Solitaire, then president of the examination board of the Vendée Globe and of the Volvo Ocean Race. Moreover, he directed at the French Sail Federation the regulation committee, and he is chairman of the regulation races at the World Sailing, the International Sail Federation. So this is with all this different titles that Bernard has enough to help usefully at the Mini-Transat 2017 organization.
