Advice on restoring bronze hardware

Hey Group,

I guess by now you know I’m restoring my mid 70 Sunfish. Sorry about all the recent posts but I’ve been working on this project without advice. This boat has the original bronze hardware that has become heavily tarnished and blue. I have worked it quite a bit with a wire brush, sanding block, brass and others. The only real results have come from the wire brush on my bench grinder. It looks a lot better but I’m afraid it may be leaving scratch marks. Not sure because I don’t know...
