Lazy jack rigging. Has anyone every tried this?

I'm trying out some sailcamping ideas and one thing I plan to do is add a lazy jack rig. For testing this out, I'm planning to use some sheave blocks and pulleys on the mast, and use the rivetnuts from the coaming to attach some cleats (pictured). Considering that these cleats won't be under much load, I think the rivnuts should be plenty strong. Anyone care to tell me how bad of an idea this is?
