What a day – Vodafone Roadshow comes to Linlithgow

It was a huge day for the Club on Saturday as we hosted the first Vodafone Roadshow, as part of Vodafone’s sponsorship of the community game in Scotland. To put on the big day, took a big effort from many in the Club and so a big shout-out to all who helped in different ways to make the day such a success!
The highlights were:
- Over 300 attended the event which was split between the Clubhouse and the ITC
- Superb street food for all FOC from Simmer Doon, featuring the countries of the 6 nations,
- Live podcast by the Rugby Journal (Rugby Lives) in the Clubhouse featuring Scotland legends Donna Kennedy (most capped Scotland player of all time with 115 caps) and recently retired Matt Scott (40 Scotland caps)
- Special training session for the Wee Reds P6s and P7s featuring Donna Kennedy and Matt Scott
- Live screening of all three Super Saturday M6N matches in the Clubhouse
- Live screening of the Ireland v Scotland and Wales v Italy M6N matches in the ITC
- Fun zone activities in the ITC, including the Vodafone passing challenge, the Vodafone Photo Booth and GW soft tipped darts
Not to mention the Young Reds u14s who kicked off the day with a superb win over Gala u14s on the top pitch.
