Fixtures Update

Pontypridd RFC can confirm some updates, changes and bring you some additional information for some upcoming fixtures.

Ponty’s Admiral Premiership match against Brecon RFC, which was postponed on Saturday 3rd January now has a new confirmed date of Saturday 9th May with a 2:30pm kick off at Sardis Road.

The second Valleys Derby of the season against Merthyr RFC, which was due to take place at Sardis Road on Saturday 11th April, has been postponed pending a new date. This is due to the Ironmen’s participation in the 2026 Welsh Premiership Cup Final against Neath on that particular afternoon. The two clubs are currently in negotiations, and we are hoping to announce a new date for this fixture very soon.

Last Wednesday we announced the team’s participation in the 2026 Melrose 7s. The senior leg of the tournament will take place on Saturday 23rd May 2026. Confirmation of the finer details will be relayed in due course, but last season matches got underway at 11:00am, as a guide.
