Pontypridd RFC to Compete in the 2026 Melrose 7s

Pontypridd RFC is pleased to announce its participation in the 2026 Melrose 7s Tournament. It takes place over the weekend Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd May 2026.

The Melrose 7s is the World’s oldest sevens tournament with the first contest having taken place in April 1883, and teams from all around the world compete annually.

The town of Melrose is situated in the picturesque Scottish Borders, so with everything considered it promises to be a fantastic weekend for everyone connected to the Club.

The Pontypridd Supporters Club can also announce that they are organising an excursion for supporters. They will be staying in Berwick-upon-Tweed for two nights, leaving Pontypridd on Friday 22nd May and returning on Sunday 24th May. The cost is priced at £290 per person, bookings are now being taken with a £100 deposit being required. To book please call Phil Lycett on 01443 662561.
