Pontypridd v Cardiff Met – Match Preview
On Saturday 6th December Pontypridd RFC play Cardiff Met RFC at Sardis Road, the Admiral Premiership match kicks off at 2:30pm.
The two league matches between Ponty and The Archers last season were highly entertaining affairs, and it was the Valley Commandos who achieved a campaign double. Last October Pontypridd triumphed 42-12 at Cyncoed, and backed that up with a 35-19 win at Sardis Road back in February.
There’s a lot on the line for both teams, albeit for different reasons. For second-placed Pontypridd it’s very much a case of looking to stay in touch with Merthyr at the top of the table, whilst Cardiff Met, currently residing in 10th, will be looking to propel themselves away from the relegation zone and up into mid-table.
C’mon the Pont!
